ActiveSeamNew Merrow ActiveSeam™ Replaces Flatlock Stitching on Base Layer Garments and Activewear

FALL RIVER, MASSUCHETTS USA — The Merrow Sewing Machine Company has unveiled its latest sewing machine, the MB-4DFO. Designed to sew a flat overlock seam on activewear, the MB-4DFO is a two-needle serger that sews all three variations of the ActiveSeam™.

ActiveSeam™ applications include: Hiking Apparel, Surfing Apparel, Ski Apparel, Rock Climbing Apparel, Cycling Apparel, Fitness Apparel, Running Apparel, Athletic Jerseys, Therapeutic Garments, and Sports Equipment.

Merrow builds the high quality overlock sewing machines and specializes in customizing them for specific applications.

Merrow Machines are designed for the modern industrial sewing room and are available in quantity to the industrial markets worldwide; where production on scale happens. But their Sample Room is designed for the production manager, student, or fashion designer. They will build a stitch that works perfectly for a specific application, and then produce the machines needed to build it in quantity.

This has been a successful formula: there are more than 300,000 Merrow Machines used worldwide today. www.merrow.com
