Brother to Begin Shipping New GT-782 White Ink, Dual Platen Inkjet Garment
BRIDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY – Brother’s Industrial Products Division, a global leader in the industrial sewing market, announced they will begin shipping their newest, next generation on-demand digital inkjet garment printer - the GT-782 - by early July 2009.
The Brother GT-782 is the perfect inkjet garment printer for medium to high volume shops. Because of its unique ability to print multiple prints simultaneously, your production increases as a result of reduced cycle times and fast flexible downloading of new images. Inkjet garment printing is more economical, faster, and cleaner than traditional screen printing methods, plus it requires significantly less operating space and business start up costs. With the GT-782, decorators can create one of a kind shirts or mass production runs - regardless of the number of colors - without having to create film positives, stretching screens, and using chemicals to reclaim these screens. There is no limit to the number of colors you can print, and the colors remain crisp and vibrant even after repeated washings.
"Brother has a long tradition of bringing market-leading, technology-driven, garment decorating systems to our customers and the GT-782, with its white ink capabilities, dual platens, and extra large ink cartridges, is our next big innovation," said Peter Holland, Senior Director and General Manager, Brother International Corporation. "The GT-782 takes the best quality operating features, lifelike imaging output and cutting-edge productivity tools and packs them into a high-tech garment printer. We‘re really excited to begin shipping these units next month."
Brother offers a full line of industrial sewing and embroidery machines, software, accessories, parts (PAS Store) and training from the single head to multi-head models.
