Raj Sareen Joins TUKATECH

Los Angeles, CA – TUKATECH announces the appointment of Raj Sareen as Director, based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. He will be responsible for product development and sales for users worldwide. At age 28, he is already an accomplished scientist with a Masters Degree in Physics from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and a Bachelors of Space Science from Florida Institute of Technology (FIT).

As a graduate teaching assistant at SFSU and researcher at the prestigious California and Carnegie Planet Search, Raj worked with some of the most successful astronomers in the world in data analysis, modeling, and observing extra-solar planets; planets orbiting distant stars. His experience and graduate math and physics education coupled with a strong programming experience will further strengthen an already pioneering research and development team. “TUKATECH’s e-fit Simulator is built upon powerful 3D engines that require a strong background in physics for continued development. Raj Joins a team of our scientists and engineers already on staff simplifying the use of our systems” commented Iva Sareen, President, TUKAgroup.” He will be working closely with industry specialists and developers to help the growth of TUKATECH,” she added.

Previous appointments include four years of research assignments with UCLA Division of Astronomy and Astrophysics, NASA Johnson Space Center and United Space Alliance. When asked why the transition from physics to apparel, Raj says that it only seems natural. “The apparel industry has been slow to adopt technology and transition to the digital age. Since I come from a pure science background, it is only natural for me to apply the valuable methods and practices crucial to science and technology to develop digital solutions to streamline processes in this industry. Being an informal member of TUKATECH and an active learner of the fashion industry for the last decade, I understand the technical challenges ahead in apparel product development and I believe very strongly in TUKATECH products and the company’s general direction in the marketplace.”
